Why Studying for RT Boards Feels So Overwhelming

If you’re like most RT students:

• Your lectures are all over the place

• Your screenshots are mixed in with memes on your phone

• Every exam review book seems to say the same things in different ways

• Everyone tells you, “You just need to do more questions”

But here’s the truth I’ve seen over and over:

You don’t need more information.
You need better structure and repetition that makes sense.

RT is one of those fields where everything is connected:

• ABGs tie into ventilators

• Ventilators tie into hemodynamics

• Hemodynamics tie into shock and pharmacology

• PFTs tell you what’s really going on in the lungs

• Chest X-rays and breath sounds confirm what you already suspect

If nobody ever shows you how all of that connects, it just feels like 500 separate topics you’re supposed to memorize.

That’s not a “you” problem. That’s a teaching and organization problem.
